Build Log Aug 2025–Feb 2026: A Busy Semester
In August 2025 I started as a student at the NTNU School of Entrepreneurship, while still continuing my Computer Science studies. Since then I have been very busy, so there have been no updates on this blog, but there has been a lot of progress.
During this time I have expanded my network a lot and gotten to know many like-minded people in my class. I have also become part of a very valuable group and alumni network that I am grateful for. For me it has been extremely valuable simply to be part of this network, without constantly needing to push my way into the innovation community in Trondheim.
Secondly, I have challenged myself quite a lot. I have pushed myself to become more comfortable in meetings and phone calls, and in general working together in groups and navigating intensive work with different types of people.
The first semester of my dual master’s degree was, however, very demanding. I was constantly balancing on the edge of being overworked, especially while also holding my position at Append Consulting, and playing in a band. I have become fairly good at managing this balance, but when unexpected things happened it pushed me completely over the tipping point, which is not sustainable in the long term.
Because of this I did not have much time for Seait or Moberg Digital, but I still managed to take on a couple of website projects and build a few micro-SaaS products.
Very surprisingly, from December to February I hit a small milestone. Puppet Generator, which I had almost completely written off, suddenly got four paying customers. Of course this is not much yet, but these were complete strangers from different countries who found the product through organic search traffic. It was exciting to land my first B2C paying customers anyway. I did try to leverage this and see if it could grow further, but so far I have not managed to push it much beyond that.
For Seait there has also been some traction recently. We have landed a second harbor using our system. This is definitely huge for the team, and we are looking forward to trying to grow further in this industry.
Most of my time this semester has gone to my new team at Qbikk. We have been doing extensive feasibility studies and trying to identify opportunities within legal tech, including meetings with more than 30 people in the legal industry. I am excited to see where this can go. It has been very interesting to start building a network in this industry.
It still feels like I am stretched thin across many different projects, but I do believe this can be a good way to expose myself to more opportunities and be ready to lock in once I find something with real traction and growth potential.
